Deep Thinker

I have spent most of my life to this point creating my own rules to live by. I was religious when I was young, and then I realized that truth cannot contradict truth. So I redirected myself to search for and discern the truth about everything that affected me. If I were to become religious now, I might choose Buddhism. But I cannot believe some of what is there either. So I am an atheist, in search of the truth.

Though I am not religious, where relationships are concerned, I am conservative. The reason is that conservative relationships have a very long history of working. Even so, I also believe that any good happy relationship is successful because each works as part of a team, part of a whole.

I lived in Alaska for 10 years, Germany for 8 months and various other places in the US, and have traveled to Russia twice spending a total of a little over 3 months there.

I like to play music, listen to music, see movies, travel, experience different cultures, swim, dive and think.

I believe there are two things in life that are most important. The first is in our heart. The second is family.

What I am looking for:
I am looking for a good woman to be my best friend for life who is gentle, reliable, reasonably healthy, is not judgmental, does not smoke, does not drink (or is a minimal drinker) and does not use drugs (no illegal drugs or continual use of prescription and over the counter drugs).

I am not looking for a perfect woman, but the woman who is perfect for me, for whom I am perfect. I might still be aiming high, but better than aiming too low.

And when I say perfect, I am not talking about a perfect body, I am talking about the person inside.
